This will use the standard-defined Colors to colorize some text.
Usage: {{Colorthis|text|colortype|colorcode|alt=}}
- text
- whatever you want colored. This can be plain text, a variable, or even the output of a template.
- colortype
- One of Quest, Item, Zone, POI, Mob, Pool, etc. This is defined in Template:Colors and there may be more available now. You should look there to see if we have defined more since this was written.
- colorcode
- Depends on the value of colortype. This is defined in Template:Colors and there may be more available now. You should look there to see if we have defined more since this was written. For instance, if colortype is "Quest", valid values for colorcode are Daily, Public, Regional or Epic. Default for normal quests is yellow.
- alt
- (switch) Sometimes we are displaying against a light background in stead of our default dark background. Colors that look good on a dark background do not look so good against light. This switch tells Template:Colors to use the alternate color, if one is defined.
