This mob is a member of the group collectively known as Imperial Army.

This monster has a Monster Compendium card, 
Card - Lechif Patrolman, that can be earned by killing it and looting the corpse. You can right-click the card to copy it into your Monster Compendium. Do the same to remove the card from your Monster Compendium.
Keeping this card in your Monster Compendium will grant a stat boost of +2 Strength so long as this card remains in your book.
Despite his "class", this is an archer and, even if you have skills that keep him at a distance, he will turn you into a pincushion while you wait to engage. Strongly recommend you close to melee range as quickly as possible and beat him like a red-headed step-child.
