How do I get to Vortis the first time?: [100] Onward to Vortis in The Spirits of Despair quest series, or use your Black Codex Transport Spell to travel to Kolydia->Tomb of Souls.
Best route from Varanas to Vortis: Take Snoop Portal to Splitwater Coast at Brinewind Castle (10,000
), then to Moorlands of Farsitan at Heroica Castle (6,000 ), and then to Tasuq. From there use the Vortis Transport Portal at Gray Citadel
This zone went live on 12/12/2018 with Patch 7.3.0.2862.
- No level-cap increase. (quests here are level 101, but the level cap is still 100.)
- New zone has been opened: Vortis.
- The new zone is principally divided between the Storm Dunes to the south and the Boundless Dune to the north.
- New main quest line, side quests and daily quests have been added.
- New instance Tomb of Souls has been added. Instance will offer 3 difficulties: Easy, Normal and Hard modes.
- New titles have been added.
- New crafting recipes have been added.
- New items for Ancient Mementos, Phirius Shells, Energy of Justice, Proof of Myth, Honour, Dreamland Pioneer Sigils merchant NPCs have been added.
- New Item Set Skills have been added for level 100. The extraction cost is 70,000,000

Make your way over the sand dunes leading away to the north, but be on your guard against the Stormwatch! Your goal is simple: you must foil Minas the Soul Corrupter’s sinister plans. You’ll find him in the new Egyptian-styled dungeon, the Tomb of Souls.
