Spoiler Alert! We have some more information about how to perform this quest but recognize you might want to try it on your own before we tell you the secret...

Do the following: Go back to the alley where Nigula Hura was attacked. There is a Wretched Vagrant there examining a Forgotten Bag. Weily Loith appears and threatens him. Ask Wretched Vagrant about the men with scars... After the conversation, examine the Forgotten Bag to get a  Messy Drawing. Examine the  Messy Drawing to reveal it's meaning. show John Hoffman what you have found. Take the  Button to Midnight (hail the Funeral Parlor Assistant to find his boss). Agree to give him your body when it becomes "art". Take  Midnight's Letter to John Hoffman. He sends you back to Midnight, who tells you the button belongs to an offshoot of the Mallen Brothers Gang that recently appeared in the city. Return to John Hoffman.
