Kidd's treasure is within touching distance — you can feel it! But as you enter the strange land of Kashaylan, you realize that your archenemy Sismond has left a trail of devastation in his wake… Patch 6.3.0 lays down an exciting range of challenges for you to overcome, before you can finally grasp the fabled treasure in your hands. Kidd's treasure must lie deep inside Kashaylan. But what's the mystery behind the ruined statue to Tanzila? And can you win over the Balu?— from us.runesofmagic.gameforge.com

Best route from Varanas to Kashaylan: Snoop Portal to Ancient Kingdom of Rorazan (2,200Gold ), then to Wailing Fjord (5,000Gold ), Jungle of Hortek (3,000Gold ), Salioca Basin (3,000Gold ), and finally to Kashaylan (3,000Gold ). Total cost: 16,200Gold

There is no exit from this zone, the path ends here. However, Guildmaster Daris may have some new information for you (about adventures in Splitwater Coast).

IF you have not completed the main quest series in Salioca Basin you cannot walk from there into Kashaylan. There is a mystical force there that will portal you back a few hundred feet everytime you try to enter Kashaylan. Other methods of entry to Kashaylan (such as your Transport Book, the Black Codex Transport Spell Black Codex Transport Spell, or the Snoop Portal) do work.

Note: Originally, the zone map showed this zone connected to Chrysalia but that was wrong. The map was eventually corrected and the map image on this page is now correct.

Story[ | ]

This zone introduced a new antagonist race, the Kashay, and promptly dropped them. They do not appear in any other zone.

Resource Nodes are plentiful and much easier to see in this zone. Stone is very visible (hot pink or dark blue), Wood are reasonably visible (tan-brown and pinkish-brown), and Herb (Grass) nodes are much less hidden (dark-green or blue-white).

Crafting stations are, of course, only found in Hovik's Camp (all six), Sabano's Camp (Alchemy and Carpentry), Secret Camp (Alchemy, Blacksmithing, and Carpentry), Waziz's Camp (Cooking), and Balu Village (Cooking and Tailoring).

Important NPCs and Objects[ | ]

Transportation via Camp Transport Circle is available at and between Hovik's Camp, Sabano's Camp, and Secret Camp.

Merchants (All or some of General, Potion, Weapons, and Equipment) are found at Hovik's Camp, Sabano's Camp, Secret Camp, Waziz's Camp, and Balu Village.

Ailic's Community Transport Portal is found only at Hovik's Camp, which also contains the zone's only House Maid, Auction House Clerk, and Mailbox along with Justice Workshop and Black Codex merchants.
