Introduction[ | ]
Let me remind you, this feature is still in Beta.
Siege wars is a special battlefield for which at this time only your guild leader can sign you up for. At this time this feature is bugged and can reset around midnight CET.
Only around 100 guilds can currently be signed up for siege wars, because more will overload the servers and will result in a guaranteed freeze and crash.
It's great fun to play siege wars (while it works), and working together with your guild to take towers, defend your castle and work the siege engines.
It will require some team effort to pull of in larger battles, and some form of voice over IP is recommended.
The rewards are titles with nice bonuses and some with skills, that put earlier titles with stats to shame.
A Guide to Siege Wars (FAQ)[ | ]
General Questions
What do I need to participate in a Siege War?
- To take part in a Siege War you need a level 5 Guild with a Guild Castle.
When does the battle begin?
- The registration period is between 22.00-18.00 CET, the preparation period between 18.00-20.00 CET, and the battle itself between 20.00-22.00 CET.
(actually CET and GMT are not interchangeable, it's currently GMT\UTC+2)
How do I register my guild for a Siege War?
- The guild leader should open the guild menu (default: G) and click on ‘Battles’. They should then choose ‘Siege War’ and finally click on ‘Register’.
(Be careful current bugs reset the registrations around CET midnight
How can I see if my guild is going to take part in a Siege War?
- After the guild leader has registered the guild for a Siege War it will be displayed in a list with all the other registered guilds at the bottom.
Can I cancel the registration?
- Registration can be canceled at any time during the registration process.
Can you re-register on the same day??
- Yes as long as there are slots available.
However, as soon as the preparation period begins, withdrawal is no longer possible.
What is the preparation period?
- During this period members of each guild can enter the battle using the Siege War Menu.
What happens if there are small and large guilds in the list?
- All guilds receive a score. Guilds with the same score will face each other in battle.
How do these scores progress?
- The winning guild takes 10% of the defeated guild’s score.
(Only the guilds who entered the first few days of the beta started with a score of 1000 and can gain points)
Can I leave a battle once it has begun?
- In the Siege War Menu there is a button which players can use to leave the battle.
What happens when all of a guild’s players leave the battle before it’s over?
- The battle continues whether there are players left in the battle or not.
If I die in battle do I receive a penalty for dying (‘debt’) and/or a loss of armor durability?
- No. However, you do receive a debuff with a negative effect which lasts for ten minutes. If you die again during this time the debuff will increase. A player can be burdened by a maximum of four such debuffs at the same time. In addition, whoever enters the battlefield already injured will also receive a debuff.
If resurrected by another player or soul bound you will receive full debt (not reduced instance debt)Neouni
The War itself[ | ]
What happens to our constructed secondary buildings?
- All buildings which have been constructed will appear with secondary functions for the battle.
- Depending on the building type, you can construct siege engines, magical defense towers, obtain special magic spells, or increase your movement speed using Crystals which you acquire during the battle. These are just a few examples. There are many other different ways of tactically using your Crystals.
How do you acquire Crystals?
- The guild receives 10 Crystals every 10 seconds as long as the Guild Honor Crystal is protected. Also, you can gain crystals from the crystal towers across the battlefield.
- In addition, guilds can gather 5000 Crystals from a captured Tower.
- Each player also receives Merits by actively participating in the battle (e.g. by defeating an opponent, collecting crystals from towers, ect.).
What can you do with Crystals?
- Similarly to the section ‘What happens to our constructed secondary buildings?’: You can construct siege engines, defense facilities, or acquire powerful spells.
What can you do with Merits?
- These are shown in the middle of the display.
- The first player to obtain 1000 merits and show them to their Guild Honor Crystal becomes a ‘herald’ and then receives special guild wide buffs, like increased movement 40%, critical chance, invincible for 15 seconds.
How do you win the battle?
- Each side begins with a Guild Honor Crystal in their guild castle and 3 small Towers guarded by NPCs, as well as 5000 points.
- Capturing one of these Towers gives you 1000 points, and capturing a guild’s Honor Crystal is rewarded with 2000 points.
- If one guild captures the other guild’s Honor Crystal, the latter has 5 minutes to recapture it, after which the siege will have been lost.
- However, if all of the battlefield’s Crystals fall into the hands of one guild, the opposing guild will immediately lose.
Where can I see how many Crystals and Points we have?
- By entering the battle every player will see a compact overview graphic which can be enlarged by clicking on the middle Crystal (this is either red or blue, depending on the team).
- The following details are shown for each side:
- Duration of the battle
- Guild name
- Number of participants
- Number of Crystals
- Crystal Score
- Personal Merit Score
What sorts of rewards are there?
- You will receive a variety of rewards according to your performance, as well as your guild’s performance in particular battles, such as armors and packages. These can contain Guild Runes, secondary blue armor, or even experience and talent orbs, amongst others.
If you lose, but are still rank 1-10 Attacker, Defender or crystal farmer you get Durable Supply
If you win by towers and timing out, you get Glorious Victory Package ×3
- You earn Badge of Trial for you performance in the siege war, which can be traded in for items or titles at the Guild Housekeeper.
(If the Siege Battlefield server has problems and you are not in the game while the battle ends, or pressed exit, you won't get rewards)
- A large number of different titles await you which can improve attributes or give you special abilities etc..

Herald[ | ]
The first one of a guild that gathers 1000 merits and shows it to their Guild Honor Crystal will become a Herald.
Upon receiving Herald status the guild gains 1000 crystals, you keep the 1000 merits
The Herald buff gives:
- +10,000 HP
- +25% Defense, both magic and physical
- +25% Attack, both magic and physical
- +100% size
Heralds gain several skills:
Summoning Tornado
- Cool-down: 8 Minutes
This skill channels the power of the Tempest through you, going straight forward and damaging all enemies caught by its deadly blast. VERY useful for killing enemies attacking a gate and gates itself.
Thunder Force
- Cool-down: 6 Minutes
This skill buffs your entire guild with a boost of speed, for a limited time (10 seconds).
Raise Morale
- Cool-down: 6 Minutes
This skill allows you to buff your ENTIRE GUILD with a super-buff that causes their MAX HP to be restored Every Second for 5 seconds.
- Cool-down: 3 minutes
This skill makes every guild member evade the next attack within 15 seconds. During this time, however, the Herald cannot use ANY abilities.
Ironblood Army Spirit
- Cool-down: 5 Minutes
This skill raises Critical hits by a large percentage.
Summon Guild Honor Guard
- Cool-down: 15 minutes
This skill calls forth a giant Guild honor Guard to fight by your side! This Guild Honor Guard has the same stats as a Guild Guard Captain, but Doubled. Yup, this dude is epic. The only bad part about this skill is that it has a MASSIVE recharge time, and also it MUST be used next to a tower, with the exception of the Honor Crystal Tower.
With this guy, I alone can walk up to an enemy tower (as long as no other PCs are guarding it and there are not many traps) and use this skill, then, while the Honor Guard is drawing the guards away and fighting them, I capture the tower! Then, when the tower is captured, the enemy has FOUR guards to fight instead of three!
