Flower Festival

This page relates to a quest, mob, event, or item involved in the annual Flower Festival (February)

The Flower Festival was introduced with patch 5.0.7 in January of 2013.

During this time of year monsters throughout Taborea have a chance to drop  Cocoa Bean and  Lover's Passion, ingredients in the making of Love Chocolate. Monsters closer to your own level have the best chance to drop these, but everything has a chance.

Grow Magical Roses

  2. Receive Seeds ( Magic Rose Seed and Water Container), plant  Magic Rose Seed in Magical Rosebed, water, defend from enemies, harvest
  • Click on Magical Rosebed to plant the  Magic Rose Seed
  • Click on Water Bucket to fill the Water Container
  • Click on plant to water it
  • Kill any pests that attack the plant

     • Varanas Administration District: Outer side of the small wall to the right at the top of the stairs, in front of the Hall of the Eye of Wisdom
     • Varanas Lower City West: Top of the stairs behind Berol [Council President of Varanas], in the amphitheater of the Council chamber

       • Alt+1: Box o' Concealment - Hide in a box for 12 seconds. Movement speed reduced by 35%.
       • Alt+2: Feint - Distract a guard for 15 seconds
       • Alt+3: Greased Lightning - Increase movement speed by 40% for 15 seconds
       • Alt+4: Smoke Bomb - Conceals you from the guards for 15 seconds

Protecting a Lover's Hope

• Start location: Varanas Central Plaza
• NPC: Evana Javelin
• Event Sequence:
  1. Receive Quest &  Laplace Seed (expires in 60 minutes), plant in your Residence (30 minute grow time), and harvest Laplace Pollen (expires in 2 hours):
     •  Normal Laplace Pollen
     •  Delicate Laplace Pollen
     •  Shining Laplace Pollen
  2. Find Ariana Grass near Vender Caravan in Silverspring northwest of Varanas, use Laplace Pollen on Ariana Grass and learn Skill "Capture Pollinator Butterfly"
  3. Use skill from behind Butterfly, when no more butterflies appear use Laplace Pollen again
  4. Return to Evana Javelin with 5 "Butterflies" within 2 hours
• Reward:  Flower Festival Attendance Certificate

After 2nd completion: Receive  Flowers from Evana and deliver them to Namu Phel in Logar, then deliver the  Entrusted Reply from Namu Phel to Evana Javelin in Varanas Central Plaza. Once again, both the  Flowers from Evana and the  Entrusted Reply will expire in 2 hours, so don't dawdle!

"Flame of Love" Athletic Contest

Event type: combat Start location: Bridge of Varanas / Varanas Central Plaza Event Sequence: NPC "Gary Burton" / NPC "Jenn Reiter" Receive 1 x "Flame of Love Transport Stone" and transport to Oblivion Shrine Register for Combat via NPC "Zobe Price" 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 minutes past the hours of midnight, noon and 6 pm. Registration only possible 3 min before event starts.

At least 2 Players have to register and step into the magical circle for event to start. Use skills or special buffs to obtain points in the "Arena" Rewards: 40 points and above: Title "Flower God Knockdown King" 3 x  Flower Festival Attendance Certificate 20 points and above 2 x  Flower Festival Attendance Certificate Completion only: 1 x  Flower Festival Attendance Certificate
