The Black Codex is a network of merchants that sell rare and unique items. The first merchants were situated in the town of Lyk in Dragonfang Ridge. They offered special food and armor sets in exchange for items that drop in Cyclops Lair.
Black Codex vendors now use Ancient Mementos as currency.
