Definition

A group of people under one banner, often your family within the game.

[] Mechanics

The guild holds a special house that you and your friends can share, as well as a private chat channel. Guilds can have many purposes, but most often it is to organize further events, instance groups, PvP groups, ingredient and crafting trade, or simply companionship.

Some guilds take great care to only recruit the best of the best, so that they may excel and be considered elite. You most likely will be asked to place a real application, and be forced to undergo a trial period.

Others recruit anyone on a pretext of companionship while leveling, and yet more are run by youngsters in hope of glory.

Before choosing a guild, remember that your eventual leaving it might not be taken lightly. Always make sure you know the aims and goals of your guild, and have a chat with one of its leaders to see if its a place for you. No decent guild takes a "jumper", and it is quite often better to be guildless than to openly associate yourself with bad players.

Guild Level

A character can start a guild at any level. A guild itself has a level which is raised by donating materials to the guild. Gold, herbs, ore and wood are the most common materials required. Materials are donated through the Guild tab (default 'G'). Once the limit for the level has been reached, the guild leader must choose to raise the guild's level. If you donate more materials than are needed for the next level, any overage will apply to the next level. For instance, at level 5 if you donate 180000 Gold out of the required 170608, after you leveled the guild, you would have 9392 donated toward the next level.

A guild flag can be bought for 30,000 Gold, and you can choose the colors and pattern.

[] Values of Donated Materials

Different refinements of the base resources contribute more toward the total than others. In the table below, the point value is how much one unit of the given resource raises that value, and the resources required are the number of the base material required to make the given item. For instance, Zinc Sand gives 3 points toward the Ore goal, and requires 2 Zinc Ore to make. This table might be incomplete, please add new materials and their values as those become available in the game.

Once your guild reaches level 5, you can buy a guild castle. After donating the required materials in your guild as usual, speak to the Guild Master and click "I want to build a castle."
