Obtaining a Housekeeper[ | ]

Housekeeper List

In your residence, pressing the far right button on your Residence function interface will give you the housekeeper list.

To begin, you will notice an empty list where the housekeepers will be listed once you have them, with four buttons on the bottom.

  • Button 1 - Summon - This summons a hired housekeeper to your location.
  • Button 2 - Recall - Recalls your housekeeper so that he/she is not displayed.
  • Button 3 - Dismiss - Will permanently dismiss the selected housekeeper.
  • Button 4 - Hire - Opens the housekeeper hiring interface.

Button 4 is the one you want, it will show you a tabbed list of all the housekeepers available at the current time.

Housekeeper Hire window
Note - Everyone shares the same list of housekeepers for hire, this resets on a timer, if all the housekeepers are hired, or there is a combination of traits you desire that aren't available, wait a while and check back and you may find something better.

You will notice down the right side that there are tabs with face icons on them, the grayed out ones signify a housekeeper that someone has already hired and you will need to wait until the list resets before one is available on that tab again.

You may hire a maximum of 6 housekeepers. The cost doubles with every one you hire as well.
1st Housekeeper - 200k gold
2nd Housekeeper - 400k gold
3rd Housekeeper - 800k gold
4th Housekeeper - 1.6m gold
5th Housekeeper - 3.2m gold
6th Housekeeper - 6.4m gold

In the Personal Information window there is information that seems purely for aesthetic purposes (just for looks) except for the personality.

The housekeepers personality will decree the things the housekeeper will say while you chat with them or ask them to make things for you.

In the Attributes section, you will see eight numbered load bars, these denote the level of skill your housekeeper has in those attributes.
From top to bottom they are :

1. Affinity - Essentially the level cap of all the other skills, you can not level a skill past the amount of affinity you have with the housekeeper.
2. Charisma - This will affect how many potions, foods, buffs, etc... that the housekeeper will give you when you ask.
3. Fatigue - Very important, every time you chat with the housekeeper, they will get 15 fatigue, when you ask for an item/buff, they will get 25 fatigue, when the fatigue meter has no more room to fill, the housekeeper will not do anything more until the fatigue meter drains over a period of time.
4. Magic Skills - Level of Magic Curriculum the housekeeper has.
5. Battle Skills - Level of Battle Curriculum the housekeeper has.
6. Defense Skills - Level of Protection Curriculum the housekeeper has.
7. Cooking Skills - Level of Cooking the housekeeper has.
8. Inventive Skills - Level of Crafting the housekeeper has.

Notice that most of the bars cap at 80. This will be the highest level this housekeeper can get in those skills. However, there will be one skill the housekeeper is specialized in that will cap at 100 meaning that the housekeeper will yield superior items or buffs with that skill when it's leveled.

Charisma will be a random number, the higher the charisma on the housekeeper, the more beneficial they will be, the maximum charisma possible is 100.

Note - When the housekeeper is first hired, they will often simply not listen to you, Chat with them a few times to resolve this.

To level the housekeeper's affinity or skills, they must be used. The menu you get when you talk to the house maid looks like this.

Housekeeper Options

Chat - will raise Affinity and Charisma when successful, will give the housekeeper 15 fatigue whether successful or not.
Magic Curriculum - will give you a magic buff and give the housekeeper 25 fatigue.
Battle Curriculum - will give you a physical buff and give the housekeeper 25 fatigue.
Protection Curriculum - will give you a defensive buff and give the housekeeper 25 fatigue.
Cooking - Will give housekeeper made foods and give the housekeeper 25 fatigue.
Crafting - Will give housekeeper made potions and give the housekeeper 25 fatigue.
Check Housekeeper Attributes - Use this at any time to see your housekeepers status and to view their stored items.

Housekeeper Stats window

The Attributes window looks much like the one you saw when you hired the housekeeper only with updated values for the skills. Only notice also that there is a second tab in this window as well.

Housekeeper Equipment window

Pressing the second tab will bring you to the Housekeeper's Equipment window. Here you can equip the housekeeper with items that look interesting and it will change the look of the housekeeper.
Also useful are the extra ten item slots here, this allows your housekeeper to hold additional items for storage and will function the same as a house chest with the added advantage of not using any additional furniture slots in your house.
